Are you Confused?

Just by looking at this picture, i am already confused. What is this trying to say, where am i supposed to turn to,where is this leading me?For me, this happens so many time, i have no more fingers and toes to count. Have you ever woke up one bright morning suddenly overwhelmed by confusion? Everything seems so disjointed. There seems to be no purpose or future.

When i was in my past relationships, after meeting up for a great meal or dinner, i will return home feeling down or angry or upset for no reason. I get agitated or i start to think more than i should. Like if the guy really likes me? Do we have a future? Why did he say the dress i was wearing looks fat on me?The list goes on.

So exactly what happened the day before?I thought back and realized something. It could be the movie i watched about an adulterous affair, a magazine screaming lose weight in ten days, the pop music i heard on promiscuity, on bad-mouthing the lady who cant speak well and was dressed badly. All these ideas so opposed to God's ways are being made light of and acceptable in today's world. And they all lead to the spirit of confusion.

Confusion is a lack of proper order, the indiscriminate mixing of dissimilar things, and being mentally mixed up. Confusion is caused by mixing darkness with light. There is every kind of confusion in the world today, because what is bad is now considered good, and what is good is disdained. Life has become bewildering, and the only thing that breaks through the confusion is the lord's presence and the Word of His truth.

Everyone, even those who walk closely with the Lord, is susceptible to its attack. The bible says, "God is not the author of confusion but of peace."(1 Cor 14:33)

You do not have to go to a bad movie in order to move into confusion. Too many outside opinions, when you should be listening only to God's, will also cause confusion. The bible also says drinking alcohol brings confusion, but also imbibing in anything that is not of God, such as gossip, foul language, promiscuity, drugs, television, movies and magazines tainted with world mindedness will bring confusion.

All lust of the flesh brings confusion too when we entertain that small fantasty over the cute leader in church or at work. "Where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing will be there."(James 3:16)

Of course, when one is confused, its prone to make unwise or quick decisions based on a faulty frame of reference, or it can paralyze the thought processes so you cannot make any decision at all. Remember that one should never live with confusion. Take it to God and pray about every aspect about it and ask Him to show you where you could have been influenced. The best weapons to dissolve it is to worship, praise and thank the lord for his gracious mercy upon your soul.

"I pray Daddy GOD for minds of confusion upon myself and everyone i know who are confused at this point of time to be released from this spirit. I rebuke it and say it has no power in our lives. By the authority I have in Jesus Christ, I command you to be gone. I praise you Lord, for your wisdom, clarity and simplicity upon my very heart and nurse my soul into the likeness of your image where we find rest and love. "
